The first milestone of a sports complex construction in the Solomon Islands has been put in place in Honiara. This 5800 square meter complex, a grant from the Government of Indonesia, will be used in the 2023 Pacific Games. [December 2020]
The Indonesian government has signed a grant agreement for the Solomon Island, Timor Leste, and Fiji Governments, in a hybrid manner. The grants given by Indonesia for handling pandemics in several Pacific countries will be used to finance the procurement of medical devices made by Indonesian producers. [December 2020]
